All orders accepted by Scorpion Technology are subject to these terms and conditions of sale, which supercede any previous terms and conditions. All descriptions and illustrations contained on this website or price list are only intended to give a general idea of the products, and as part of our continuous product development policy, specifications and design may vary slightly.

Prices are quoted subject to currency fluctuations and therefore we reserve the right to change prices without prior consent.

All prices listed on the Scorpion Technology website include VAT unless stated.

Bargain Basement Deals - Sale Items
All bargain basement deal items are sold on a "first come, first serve" basis. Quantities are limited and once sold, they will be removed from the website.

Email Marketing
Products that are advertised with prices listed are only valid for 30 days from the day the marketing information is sent out to customers. We reserve the right to change pricing without notice. Products may also vary in specification and we do not gaurantee that the same product will be available at the time of purchase due to stock limitations and supply.

To assist in prompt dispatch, please use the correct product codes and descriptions as supplied on the website. Failure to use correct product codes will delay your order as priority will be given to orders placed with correct product codes. Orders can be sent by email or purchased via our shopping cart facility. Customers will be informed when possible about any out of stock items so that they can be re-ordered on their next order, as a back order file is not held. All items in stock will be shown on the website, however, we do not gaurantee that a product will be in stock at the time of order even though the website might show that the item is in stock at that particular time.

Delivery - Local Delivery Only/Ireland/UK/European Destinations
Orders will be dispatched by courier where available or alternatively via the postal service. In some cases such as the Scottish Highlands it may be a two to three day service; we reserve the right to use any courier or postal service of our choice.  "Local Deliveries Only" refers to customers that live within a 10km radius of the Scorpion Technology office, which is based in Kells, Co. Meath.  Any customers outside of this radius, must pay delivery charges unless a prior arrangement is made with the sales team in advance.

Some of our products are shipped direct from the distributor or manufacturer. If this is the case, delivery times may take longer depending on the location the product is being shipped from. Customers will be informed if the item is being shipped direct and an approximation on the delivery time (although this may vary from company to company).

Scorpion Technology are not responsible for deliveries which are not registered or recorded. We cannot be held responsible for orders after they are shipped.

Any claims for non-delivery, shortages, or breakages must be made in writing within two days of delivery.


Warranty and Returns
All products sold by Scorpion Technology are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of invoice/sale; any refurbished products sold by Scorpion Technology are sold as seen unless expressly advised by the principals of the company. Faulty products will only be exchanged, credited or repaired at Scorpion Technology's discretion. Warranty claims will only be settled after the faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated and a copy of the relevent invoice/sale against which the goods were purchased is enclosed. Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, accessories missing, wires cut etc. will not be replaced or credited. Similarly, any goods found to have been misused i.e. output transistors blown, polarity reversed, products used incorrectly or outside of the manufacturers recommendations, will not be replaced or credited. These will be repaired and charged to the customer or returned to the customer in the condition that they were received by Scorpion Technology. Any goods returned to Scorpion Technology that are not found to be faulty will be returned to the customer and a charge of €30 Euros made, so please endeavour to check the goods before returning them.

Customers may be required to return a warranty item direct to the distributor or manufacturer i.e. Yaesu Equipment. In some cases, we will ask the customer to ship the goods to Scorpion Technology, however, this is at our own discretion. The return cost of the goods wiill be down to the customer and NOT Scorpion Technology. Any "out of pocket" costs incurred by Scorpion Technology in relation to faulty equipment will be charged to the customer. No refund will be issued until the goods are returned to the manufacturer/distributor or Scorpion Technology and checked to make sure that the goods are in working order. We will only except the goods if they are in their original packaging. If the goods are found to be damaged or faulty, than a refund will be issued less the cost of the repair. If a repair is not possible, than a refund will not be issued.


Secondhand Equipment
We test all secondhand equipment before it is sold on. We offer a three month warranty with all secondhand equipment from date of purchase. If a fault is found, we request that the product is shipped back to Scorpion Technology for re-testing before a replacement (if possible) or credit note is issued. If we do not find a fault, the customer will be required to pay for the return delivery.

Re-stocking Fee
Scorpion Technology reserve the right to charge 20% re-stocking fee of the total cost of the order should a customer decide not to go ahead after their order has been placed and/or shipped by us or our suppliers.

Free Gifts
Free gifts (when available) will be sent out with product orders totaling over €100 Euros excluding delivery charges. As they are free gifts they are provided "as is" and do not come with a manufacturers warranty, however, replacements, if available, may be given under certain circumstances. If the exact item is not available, an alternative gift will be offered. This will be down to the discretion of the Scorpion Technology staff.

We reserve the right to refuse any customer who do not meet our requirements. Products can be purchased with cash or alternatively by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) at the time of placing the order and processed via Paypal. We also except bank drafts and cheques (these have to be cleared funds before the product(s) are ordered).

NB. You do not need to have a Paypal account to make a payment.

Reservation of Title
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier, but THE TITLE in the goods remain vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer, of all sums due on whatsoever grounds to us.
